Pamela R. Costanzo
PAMELA R. COSTANZO is an associate lawyer at Black Gropper. She has provided legal representation and advice to unions on a wide range of issues, including collective agreement arbitrations, Labour Relations Board applications, and human rights and workers compensation matters.
Pamela articled at Black Gropper and at the Department of Justice. While at the Department of Justice, she appeared in provincial court and in chambers, primarily on criminal matters.
Prior to attending law school at UBC, she obtained her Master's degree in Occupational Health at McGill University, and her undergraduate degree in physics from SFU. She was the Occupational Health manager of a Toronto hospital group, and of the Royal Ontario Museum, and worked closely with unions in both workplaces to resolve health and safety issues. While at the ROM, she conducted a joint study, with the Canadian Conservation Institute, of arsenic and mercury contamination in the museum's collection.
Pamela is a member of the CBA's Labour and Human Rights sub-sections. She has co-authored conference papers on the duty to accommodate and workplace investigations.
