Mandy Sigurgeirson
MANDY SIGURGEIRSON is an associate lawyer at Black Gropper. After being called to the Bar in 2000, she has provided legal representation and advice to both private and public sector unions on a wide range of issues, including collective agreement arbitrations, Labour Relations Board applications, Canada Industrial Relations Board applications, and civil matters. Mandy has also provided policy advice on collective agreement administration, and represented unions and their members in workers compensation and workplace health and safety matters.
Prior to joining Black Gropper, Mandy worked in private practice in Vancouver and worked for a union representing members before the Worker's Compensation Review Board and Worker's Compensation Appeal Tribunal. Mandy attended law school at UBC, and she obtained her Bachelor's degree in History (Hons.) at UBC.
